Baccarat is simpler than you think. Here are the basics in three minutes.
Place your chips on the Banker, Player, or Tie area. You can also add a Pair side bet for higher odds.
The dealer distributes two cards each to the Banker and Player. Card values are calculated — picture cards and 10s are worth zero, Aces are worth 1.
Based on fixed rules, the Banker or Player may receive a third card. You don't need to make any decision — it's all handled automatically.
The side whose total is closest to 9 wins. The tens digit is dropped — for example: 7+8=15 counts as 5.
Know the true odds of every bet before you put your money down.

Practical tips for serious 99myr players.
The Banker house edge (1.06%) is the lowest in baccarat. Even with the 5% commission factored in, Banker remains the most mathematically sound choice over the long term.
The Tie bet looks tempting at 8:1, but a house edge of 14.36% makes it the least profitable bet on the table. Avoid it or keep it to a minimum.
Baccarat is a game of independent probability — past results have no influence on future outcomes. Never base your betting decisions solely on a "streak" or pattern you spot on the road map.
Set a win limit and a loss limit before each session. Once either is hit, stop playing. This discipline matters more than any technical strategy.

Baccarat is one of the oldest and most respected casino games in the world, yet it remains relevant and continues to grow thanks to its straightforward rules that anyone can pick up quickly. At 99myr, we bring the baccarat experience — once reserved for high-end casinos — directly to your phone or computer screen, with crisp streaming quality, professional dealers, and transparent odds.
It comes as no surprise that baccarat enjoys such widespread popularity among Malaysian players. In Asian gambling culture, baccarat holds a unique status – it is seen as a game of perception and intuition, not merely one of chance. Experienced baccarat players learn to read game patterns, manage their bankroll wisely, and make more informed betting decisions based on the round history displayed in the road map.
Many new players shy away from baccarat because it seems complex and exclusive. In reality, baccarat is one of the simplest casino games in terms of rules — far easier than blackjack or poker. You only need to make one decision: bet on Banker, Player, or Tie. After that, the dealer handles everything else automatically according to the set rules.
Card values in baccarat differ slightly from most card games. Cards 2 through 9 carry their face value, Aces are worth 1, and all face cards plus 10s are worth zero. When the total exceeds 9, only the last digit counts — so 7 + 6 = 13, which means a value of 3. The side closest to 9 wins. Simple enough to pick up in just a few minutes.
One of the advantages of playing baccarat at 99myr over a physical casino is the variety of variants on offer. A land-based casino might have only two or three tables, but 99myr offers more than 30 active tables spanning six main variants.
Classic Baccarat is the most standard and widely played variant. With a minimum bet as low as RM5, it suits players of all levels. Rounds take place every 40 seconds, giving you enough time to consider your next bet.
Speed Baccarat is the option for players who prefer a fast pace. Each round is completed in 27 seconds — meaning you can play nearly 130 hands in an hour. It's popular among players with limited time or those who enjoy higher intensity.
Baccarat Squeeze is the most dramatic variant and a firm favourite among players who want a truly suspenseful casino experience. The dealer reveals cards slowly — bending and peeling them open little by little before showing the full value. In real-world VIP casinos, this "squeeze" ritual is a long-standing tradition, and now you can enjoy the same experience at 99myr without going anywhere.
No Commission Baccarat is the variant that removes the 5% commission on Banker wins — with one exception: when Banker wins with exactly a 6, the payout is reduced to 1:0.5. This creates a slightly different dynamic that appeals to players who prefer a simpler payout structure.
One of the features that makes 99myr a complete baccarat platform is the comprehensive road map display available at every table. The road map is far more than decoration – it is a historical analysis tool used by experienced baccarat players across Asia to identify patterns and make more informed betting decisions.
Bead Road is the most basic record — each round result is logged as a colored bead in sequence. Blue for Banker, red for Player, and green for Tie. It gives you a quick snapshot of recent result patterns at any given table.
Big Road is a detailed grid-style record where consecutive results are logged in the same column until the pattern changes. Players use the Big Road to identify "dragon tails" (long streaks on one side) or zigzag patterns.
It is important to understand that the road map is a tool, not a guarantee. Every round in baccarat is a statistically independent event – past results do not directly influence future rounds. The road map helps you make more informed decisions, not predict outcomes with certainty.
The best strategy in baccarat isn't about complex betting systems like Martingale or Fibonacci — it's about smart bankroll management. Here are the core principles used by successful baccarat players at 99myr.
First, set a stop loss and take profit limit before every session. For example, if you start a session with RM500, decide in advance that you will stop if your bankroll drops to RM250 (a 50% stop loss) or if you reach RM800 (your take profit target). Once either limit is hit, end the session without exception. Many players give back their winnings simply by continuing to play after reaching their win limit and then losing it all back.
Second, never bet more than 2% to 5% of your account balance on a single hand. This ensures you have enough runway to keep playing even through an unexpected losing streak. Baccarat carries fairly high variance — a run of 10 consecutive losses is not statistically unusual.
Third, avoid the "double up" or Martingale system, which requires you to double your bet after every loss. While in theory it should recover your losses once you eventually win, in practice it can lead to heavy losses when the table limit is reached or your bankroll runs out before the losing streak ends.

Real experiences from active members playing live baccarat at 99myr.
"I've played live baccarat on several platforms, but 99myr is hands down the smoothest experience. The stream never buffered even late at night on a regular WiFi connection. The dealers are friendly too — some even speak Malay. Won RM6,800 in a single Squeeze Baccarat session and withdrew to Maybank in 12 minutes. Highly recommend!"
"I play Speed Baccarat on 99myr almost every day. Love it for the pace — you can get through more than 100 hands in an hour. The road maps cover everything from Bead Road to Small Road. Deposit via Touch 'n Go and you're at the table within 30 seconds. Even on a losing streak, the 12% weekly cashback comes in automatically."
"Just hit VIP Silver at 99myr and immediately got access to the VIP Baccarat tables. It's a completely different experience — higher betting limits, more professional dealers. Withdrawals are faster too, hit my CIMB account in about 8 minutes. The 99myr platform is easy to use even on mobile, no app download needed. Very satisfied."
